# Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

Customers who use one of Maxwell’s supported Loan Origination Systems can sync loan files between the POS and LOS.

#### LOS Integration Capabilities

* Initiate loan file creation in the LOS and connect POS and LOS application IDs
* Push MISMO 3.4 application data to the LOS
* Push documents to the LOS
* Sync loan milestones between the POS and LOS

#### Supported Loan Origination Systems

* Encompass (ICE)
* MeridianLink Mortgage (MLM)
* Byte
* Mortgage Bot
* Mortgage Flex

### Manual Loan Push

Some organizations prefer that Loan Officers manually push files to the LOS. This ensures the LO has enough time to review and prepare the file before it enters the LOS.

To manually push a loan:

1. Go to **Services → LOS {Name}**.
2. Click **Push application file to LOS** and confirm.
3. After a successful push, you will see the **Loan #** and **Date Pushed** displayed.

### Automated Loan Push & Updates

Some organizations choose to automate the push of loan applications from the POS to the LOS once the borrower reaches specific milestones. This ensures a smooth transition of data without requiring manual action from a Loan Officer.

#### Examples of Automated Push Triggers

* After the borrower submits the application
* After product and pricing selection
* At the time of a rate lock request

### Document Sync Automation

Maxwell can automatically push documents to the LOS as soon as they are uploaded. This helps keep both systems aligned and reduces manual work for your team.

### Key Loan Information Updates

For certain LOS integrations, Maxwell can also pull key loan information back into the POS, ensuring both systems remain in sync. Supported updates may include:

* Borrower contact information
* Subject property details
* Loan amount changes
