# Application Activity Feed

The Activity Log on an Application File shows a history of actions taken by lenders and applicants on a loan. I can be accessed by viewing an application file from the Lender Hub, selecting the context menu, and then selecting "Activity".

All entries show the date and time of the action, followed by the user who took that action, and a description of the action.

Note - certain actions may be triggered by the system itself or third party integrations at which point the user name of who took the action may show as "System".

### Loan File Creation Types

The first entry on the activity feed will show the means by which the application file was created. We break down loan file creation in the following ways:

* created application via MISMO import
  * This means a Lender imported a 3.4 File to the Lender Hub
* imported application from Encompass LOS
  * Encompass Only - This means a Lender started the file by pasting an existing Encompass Loan ID to import the file.
* created application by auto-import from LOS
  * Encompass Only - This signifies we automatically detected a new loan created in Encompass and assigned to a matching Lender in Maxwell's Point of Sale
  * This feature is still in testing
* created application from the lender pipeline
  * This signifies a lender created a new application from the Lender Hub under a few circumstances:

    * The lender pressed the "New Application" button and filled out borrower information on a new loan:

    * The lender found an existing application file in their pipeline, chose to "Start New Application", then selected to start a blank applicaiton instead of importing previous answers

* created application from the borrower hub

  * This signifies an existing borrower started a new application from the Borrower Hub, but did not import their previous answers

* created application via new borrower signup
  * This signifies a new borrower signed up through the Borrower Hub, and then started their first loan.
  * This can also occur if you have landing pages enabled and a borrower creates a new loan from a landing page.
* created application via anonymous signup
  * This is possible if a prospective borrower visits the borrower hub or lending portal to start a new application file and fills a portion of it out prior to creating their account.
  * This is only enabled if your account supports Anonymous Signups. Contact Maxwell support for more information.
* created application by duplicating previous application
  * This occurs either when a Lender starts a new application based on an older one from their pipeline view and decides to import borrower information.
  * Existing borrowers can also start a new application from the Borrower Hub and elect to import their previous application, which will trigger this state.
