June 4th, 2025 Release Notes

Summary

Maxwell Hosted Encompass Disclosure Available for Beta Testing 6/9

We’re excited to announce a major enhancement to the eDisclosure experience within our point of sale (POS), made possible through our integration with Encompass Partner Connect and the Partner Doc Delivery APIs. This update creates a more seamless, transparent, and reliable eDisclosure process for both borrowers and lenders.

For more details on this feature review our Maxwell Hosted Disclosures Feature Overview

Key Benefits

1. Streamlined Borrower Experience

Borrowers will now receive, view, and sign their Mortgage eDisclosures natively from the Maxwell point of sale (POS). We've eliminated redirect, authentication, and consent steps that caused friction and confusion for borrowers, delivering a faster, more intuitive, and mobile-friendly signing flow.

Enhancements to the borrower's experience

  • No redirect or SSO into Encompass Consumer Connect (ECC)

  • No authentication code required

  • No additional eConsent required

  • No need to close ECC iFrame to update task status

2. Increased Transparency for Loan Officers in the POS

With our new signing status updates Loan Officers gain real-time visibility into borrower progress with disclosures (sent, viewed, signed, declined) making it easier to offer timely support and guidance to borrowers.

Additionally, LOs can view and sign disclosures directly from the POS, to improve workflow efficiency.

Lenders can now see signer status as well as sign disclosures directly in the Point of Sale.

3. Seamless and Reliable Encompass Integration

Built on Encompass Partner Connect and the Partner Doc Delivery APIs, this integration enables secure, reliable, and automated document flow between Encompass and Maxwell.

Key Improvements

  • Automated delivery and sync of disclosure packages between Encompass & Maxwell using Partner Doc Delivery APIs

  • Resolves borrower authentication and SSO binding issues

  • Activity logs in both POS and LOS for improved self-serve support

Disclosures Beta Testing Setup

We will open up beta testing for Encompass Admins and Pilot teams on June 9th, after ICE's June 7th OD release which will make eDisclosures Partner Document Delivery available on Encompass Web and Desktop.

On-boarding Requirements

  1. For partner doc delivery to work the lender's instance needs both Encompass Consumer Connect (ECC) Site and Encompass Compliance Services (ECS) set up in Encompass. All lenders who use Encompass Disclosures will already have this set up.

  2. The client partner will need to provide an active DocuSign account with valid credentials and envelopes available.

  3. If you meet steps one and two, reach out to a Maxwell Admin [email protected] to on-board Maxwell Hosted Disclosures for your organization's POS setup.

  4. After Maxwell sets up the POS integration, an Encompass Admin will need to set up Maxwell Partner Doc Delivery in Encompass Services. Follow set up instructions here.

Mortgage Integration Updates

Added Disclaimer Text to MI Quotes

We added disclaimer text to the rates display to clarify that these quotes are for estimation purposes and not a commitments or guarantee of insurance.

MI Quotes Errors

We added some error handling and notification for lenders attempting to pull MI quotes with insufficient information. In these instances we'll display an error when we cannot retrieve MI quotes and provide instructions for the LO to resolve the issue.

Bugs & Code Cleanup

  • UX improvements to borrower email verification experience

  • Enhanced the Import from LOS experience so it works after a lender unlinking a loan from Encompass.

  • Resolved AccountChek reports generation issues

  • Resolved an issue with Disclosures to allow creation of a Disclosure task after there was an initial error on a task creation
