February 4th, 2026 Release Notes
Summary
Doc AI Document Completeness
We now recognize when pages are missing from documents and prompt the borrower to confirm and upload the additional pages.
A common use case is Bank Statements, which could include an "intentionally blank" page. Underwriters need this page, but borrowers don't know this. With this update, we remove the confusion and the manual back-and-forth between borrowers and lending teams!
For additional details, see the Lender Hub AI article.

LPA v6.0 Update
We’ve updated our integration with Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor to support the new LPA v6.0 API, ahead of Freddie Mac’s planned retirement of version 5.3 in March 2026.
This upgrade delivers two major improvements for lenders and loan officers:
1. Enhanced Feedback Certificate
Freddie Mac has redesigned the Feedback Certificate to help users identify key insights faster. Updates include:
A layout optimized to highlight actionable information
Fewer pages returned
Updated terminology aligned with the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) and broader industry language
More consistent, standardized feedback messages

2. Reduced Dataset Requirements
LPA v6.0 allows requests without several previously required “edge case” data points. This means your system can now submit LPA without fields such as:
BalloonIndicator
InterestOnlyIndicator
NegativeAmortizationIndicator
These values now default within LPA when not provided, reducing what your team must collect to run an assessment.
More Information on LPA
This will be automatically updated for all organizations leveraging Maxwell's LPA integration.
For more technical details on LPA v6.0 including updated schemas, new data points, and other request/response file changes, refer to Freddie Mac’s LPA v6.0 Specification Bulletin below.
If your organization hasn’t enabled LPA within the Maxwell POS and would like to set up this integration, reach out to [email protected].
Maxwell Hosted e-Disclosures Updates

Hosted Disclosures with e-Sign Included
Maxwell's e-Disclosures experience comes included with e-sign provider so you do not need to provide your own e-sign credentials or envelopes. This ensures a consistent experience for your borrowers within the Point of Sale.
Setting Actual LE Received Date
Maxwell now sets actual received date of the Loan Estimate. This event is set based on the borrower first opening and viewing their disclosure packages in our e-Sign provider. The presumed date will still be calculated based on 3 days after the LE was sent.

Your customer success manager will be in contact with you about your on-boarding and testing plan for Hosted Disclosures in Maxwell POS.
