April 9th, 2025 Release
Summary
Import from Encompass LOS ID
While we'd like every loan file and application to start within our point of sale, we understand there are reasons that loan files will begin in the LOS (repeat borrowers, seconds for downpayment assistance etc.). On those occassions, when an LO needs to get a file from the LOS into the Point of Sale so you can coordinate tasks like document collect, disclosures, and other document signatures. For those occasions we're providing LOs and easy process to import the LOS file to the POS via a GUID.
How it Works
Go to the Encompass loan pipeline
Right click on the loan you want to import an select 'Properties' the loan GUID will be highlighted Copy the GUID
Make sure the loan file is closed prior to creating the file in the POS, failing to do so may result in missing or outdated information
Login to the POS and go to the pipeline view
Go to the New Application button in the upper right and select "Import from LOS ID" from the dropdown
In the modal Select the site you want to import to, Paste the GUID copied from the LOS and click import
After a successful import a loan file will be created in the POS and automatically sync to Encompass for document uploads and dislcosure tasks
The Loan file will contain key loan information including borrower name, contact information, loan amount, estimated property value so you can get visibility to the key loan information to process your borrowers file.
There will be an attempt to assign the LO that is importing the file and the LO will receive an application assigned email
Applicants will be sent notifications that they have a new loan file application assigned to them.
The Loan Application tasks will be completed and frozen for the borrower so they do not fill out a loan application, they will only need to complete additional tasks assigned to them.
Jornaya Integration
We are excited to support an integration with Jornaya, a leading consumer journey insight platform, into our mortgage application. This integration enhances TCPA (telephone consumer protection act) compliance and provides valuable insights into consumer intent.
How It Works
When a borrower interacts with our mortgage application, their Lead ID is captured in real-time when they provide their consent.
Maxwell will send that Lead ID to the LOS at the time of application data sync.
Loan officers and compliance teams can then match the borrower Lead ID to their Jornaya platform to review video of the user sessions and ensure consent was captured by the borrower.
Getting Started with Jornaya
If your organization uses Jornaya and would like to integrate with Point of Sale loan application experience, reach out to help@himaxwell.com and we will provide you a quote for a one time implementation fee.
MI Integration Updates
MI Provider Quote List Order: We updated the logic of the MI Quotes results returns so they'll be in the following sequence.
Lowest price first
Randomized order for any ties
If no results or an error return last
Disable MI Quotes if Credit Score is not Present:
We will disable Get MI quotes if a credit score is not present on the loan file. A credit score can be entered one of four ways:
Automated credit pull at the time of application submission (this is a configuration on your application blueprint)
Manually run a credit pull from the services tab
Enter an estimated credit score value in the loan application
Enter an estimated credit score on the loan pricer page
Mortgage insurance quotes can be generated from a full tri-merge score, a single bureau soft credit pull, or a manually entered value.
Ability to add custom text to email on a pre-qual letter
We've added a feature that allows the LO to customize the email that the borrower receives when they send a pre-qualification letter.
Product & Pricing Updates
Added the ability to return 20 year term products for all ICE Product & Pricing (formerly EPPS) integrations.
Added the ability to return 40 year term products for all Optimal Blue Product & Pricing results
Bugs & Code Cleanup
In this release you will see that we have fixed a lot of bugs and small user experience frictions. It's not that our platform broke this month, quite the opposite. In our ongoing commitment to ensuring your users have a great user experience we do a quarterly bug bash where put an area of our Point of Sale experience under the microscope and try to identify and fix any user issues we notice.
This month we tackled the Lender Hub and along the way cleaned up a few issues as well.
Fixed an issue in user search in Team Assignment so the user search will start returning results after entering 4 characters instead of requiring the full correct name to return search results.
Resolved an issue where VOE/I for Equifax, The Work Number wasn't directing users through the correct workflow if they didn't have an alternate work ID.
Fixed a bug where previewing uploaded .jpeg files wasn't working properly. Now both borrowers and lenders are able to preview uploaded .jpeg files without issue.
Resolved an issue where lenders were unable to complete tasks after initially uploading a document on the task.
Resolved an issue on screenshare where we weren't always recognizing if a user was logged in at the time of screenshare request.
Resolved an issue where the "Smartviews" menu expanded every time you changed tabs in the left sidebar navigation.
Cleaned up the mobile view of the file overview screen so the most important loan file information appears in sequence (Loan file header name and number, loan product details, loan amount and values, ratios)
Cleaned up several other miscellaneous bugs and ux
